Irish Guard is a horse with exceptional temperament, excellent bone structure and beautiful flowing movement. All three attributes come through strongly in his offspring.
His progeny are currently doing very well on the NZEF show jumping circuit – Pittsburgh won the 6 year old series at HOY 2006 and Kiwi Dance also performed well. Irish Guard has strong jumping bloodlines so if you are looking to breed a horse suitable for hunting, show jumping or eventing, he is worth considering.
Typical of the Irish horse he has the attitude and toughness under pressure that makes them so special.
